Adult Leaders:
Man, we have cooked up an amazing roundtable for October 6th! A team of outstanding District leaders have put together eight training classes for you.
Recall that Journey to Excellence (JTE) Guidepost 4 (Basic Training) is due by October 31st. The October Roundtable will provide basic training for Cub Scout and Boy Scout leaders, and can be key to helping you achieve your unit’s Guidepost 4. And . . . it’s FREE. We’ll have the following Cub Scout Leader Position-Specific Training:
- Lion Cub Coordinator
- Den Leader (Tiger, Wolf, Bear)
- Webelos Leader
- Cubmaster
- Pack Committee
We’ll be offering the following courses for Boy Scout leaders:
- Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster Position-Specific Training (classroom component)
- Merit Badge Counselor Training
- Den Chief Training – Troop and Packs should get together, identify the Scouts who want to be Den Leaders and bring them to Roundtable.Ideally, the identified Den Leader who will work with their new Den Chief should attend with them to learn together.
Training Offered At Roundtable
Every Scout deserves a trained leader – come and learn more about this amazing program for your youth.
Also, please come to the October Roundtable to pick up your Unit Recharter Packet. Annual Unit Charter Renewal is that time every year when unit leaders review and renew their youth and adult members for the coming year.
