September Roundtable – WHAT TO EXPECT – September 6, 2018 – 7:00PM
What to expect at this month’s Roundtable Meeting
The monthly District Roundtable meeting provides an information and training forum for adults involved as leaders in the Scouting program. Parents and children are welcome to attend. These meetings allow attendees from all parts of the Scouting program to:
◾ Discuss topics of interest, both formally and informally
◾ Learn new skills and program topics for your unit
◾ Learn about upcoming District and Council events
◾ Meet and exchange ideas with other leaders from the District
Roundtable is open to all adults involved with the Scouting program. Registered leaders are especially encouraged to attend.
LOCATION: Minnetonka Community Center 14600 Minnetonka Blvd, Minnetonka, MN 55345
Roundtable Early Check-in
Rather than completing the sign-in form when you arrive at roundtable, save the time and instead check-in now online.
Each Scout unit should send at least one representative to each roundtable meeting.

World Jamboree is less than 12 months away. Come learn about opportunities to be a part of the adventure;either helping your scouts to attend or volunteering yourself to be on Staff.
Boy Scout Breakout Program – Retaining older Scouts
Struggling to keep your older boys interested? Having Scouts leave the troop after they
make Eagle because there is nothing left to do? Come join the discussion on how to keep our older
scouts interested and coming back to scouts despite the ‘fumes’.
Cub Scout Breakout Program – Adding Pizzazz to Your Program
New or seasoned, we all struggled with keeping our programs fresh and interesting for our
scouts. Perhaps you have an idea you want to share. Come learn about exciting was to add
pizzazz and spice up your program.

OA CHAPTER MEETING
Meetings of the Lake Minnetonka Chapter of the Totanhan Nakaha Lodge, Order of the Arrow, are held in conjunction with the district roundtables on the first Thursday of each month.

Commissioners Meeting is for the Commissioners AND District Members.
6:00 – 6:45 – Prior to Roundtable
The topics on the agenda for our meeting will include the following.
- Commissioner responsibilities for Guideposts 2 and 3
- Availability of new Commissioner Tools
- Commissioner teams and the new District Geographic Areas.
