Scott Janke and Brian Reiners – Selected As 2011 Silver Beaver Award Recipients – Northern Star Council BSA

Lake Minnetonaka District is proud to announce that two of our Scouters, Brian Reiners and Scott Janke, have been selected as 2011 Silver Beaver Award recipients in Northern Star Council.

The Silver Beaver Award is the highest volunteer recognition awarded at the council level.

Brian Reiners, AKA “Scoutmaster Bucky”, is currently a Crew Advisor for Crew 88 in Maple Plain, Lake Minnetonka District, and the Cubmaster of Pack 042 and Scoutmaster of Troop 042, both out of Metro Lakes District.

Scott Janke is currenlty our district webmaster and communications director.  He is one of our District Key-4 and serves as Committee Chair for Crew 283 in Wayzata.

Be sure and make plans to congratulate them in person at the Council Recognition Dinner in March.

In addition to the Council Recognition Dinner, make plans to attend our District Recognition Dinner during our May roundtable on May 3, 2012.  It’s catered, and it’s free!  More importantly, it gives us a chance to recognize our outstanding district Scouters for a job well done.
