July District Committee Meeting – Jul 13, 1017

Hi Team!

I hope everyone is enjoying the summer so far. Summer camps are in full swing and Jamboree is just a month away.

Our key responsibility as leaders within the Lake Minnetonka District is to ensure that our units have the support they need to run the successful Scouting program. That requires our talent, experience and dedication to serve our ultimate goal –  kids developing and having fun in Scouts. To “kick-off” our next year of Scouting, please join us in at the next District Committee meeting on Thursday, July 13th in Baker Park.

This is a great time to get to know your fellow district-level volunteers – commissioners, district committee members, and more. Jeff Pastir, our enthusiastic chef, will be grilling hamburgers and hotdogs (and more, if you have a dietary need). Soft drinks will be provided. We’ll set the stage for the Fall Recruitment campaign, including more information about helping units with their recruiting plan and School Night for Scouting.
