Journey to Excellence District Award - Silver - 2014

"Scouting's Journey to Excellence" is the BSA's council performance recognition program designed to encourage and reward success and measure the performance of our units, districts, and councils. It replaced the Centennial Quality Awards Program as a means of encouraging excellence in providing a quality program at all levels of the BSA."

Hats off to our packs, troops, crews, and teams for their performances on the 2014 Journey to Excellence 2.0 criteria; and for completing on-time, defect-free unit rechartering. This means 80% of our units qualified in the Gold or Silver JTE categories. These results are impressive! We applaud our committee chairs and unit leaders for their commitment to providing an excellent program for youth in our district.

We encourage units that did not qualify - or that qualified for lower levels - to contact those units that qualified for gold to find ways to improve their program so they can qualify for a higher level in 2015 as well.
