Now is the time to start evaluating your post, post leadership and Explorers for receiving recognition during the March 14, 2017 Exploring Awards Celebration. Please plan to attend and celebrate your post’s achievements. The nomination deadline is Friday, February 10, 2017. Nominations forms were included in your membership packet that was distributed at the August Exploring Kick-offs. Otherwise, the nomination forms are located on our local web site at www.explorenow.org.
Recognize Someone
Recognize your post advisors and/or Explorers for a Youth/Adult National Leadership Award. Other top recognitions will include Post Advisor of Year, Assistant Post Advisor of the Year and New Advisor of the Year. Likewise Explorers will be awarded in the same categories. In addition, a Youth Service Award is given to an Explorer. This is your chance to say, “Thanks and a job well done!” to advisors and Explorers.
Post nomination categories are:
- Community Service Award
- Marketing Award
- Innovation Award
- New Post of the Year
- Journey to Excellence and Tenure Post Awards (nominations not needed)
Please send us those terrific photos of your post activities, competitions, fund raising events and community service projects/activities to include in the ‘2016 Exploring at a Glance’ DVD this will be play during the Exploring Awards Celebration on Tuesday, March 17, 2017.
