District M District Award of Merit Recipients Announced!
Congratulations to three fantastic Scouters who were recently announced as the District Award of Merit recipients from District M!!
Bruce Fehn:
Bruce is an active leader in both cub scouts and boy scouts. He served as a ScoutReach adult volunteer in Alexandria, Louisiana. He is Wood Badge trained and a member of the Order of the Arrow. After his son turned 18 Bruce, joined the linked troops 3477 and 5477 as Assistant Scoutmaster and is a founding adult leader. Bruce has been a key to the success of opening and growing both troops. He brought his experience and his enthusiasm and is committed to be at every meeting and every campout. Bruce has also served as a Campmaster at Rum River Scout Camp for the past two years. Bruce is a very appreciated servant leader for District M.
Jessica Harrell:
Jessica is a Troop Committee Chair and merit badge counselor for Troop 3570. She was active as District volunteer with legacy Lake Minnetonka Co-Chairing Camporees. She is very involved with Council Training, serving twice on Wood Badge staff and currently serving on 2022 winter course as ASM of Troop Guides. She is always willing to assist and was a big help with the 2021 1st Training Fellowship weekend, helping on Quarter Master staff. Jessica also helped with IOLS QM staff for several courses. Jessica was a table host for Million Dollar day and is assisting College of Commissioner Service with social media promotions. She is also involved with University of Scouting on the Communications team. Jessica is a great ambassador for scouting and gives 100% to make any event a success.
Scott Vondracek:
Scott has been a long term volunteer for legacy Lake Minnetonka District and District M. He registered with Pack 3372 as Committee Chair and then moved on to serve as Cubmaster for 4 years. During this time, he was also a very active District volunteer both as a Super Nova mentor for 2 years and as a Commissioner.. Scott served on staff several times for BALOO training for the District. He completed Wood Badge in 2017 and currently in on staff as a Troop Guide for a 2022 course. He has been a Commissioner for his units and an active participant and staff member at College of Commissioner service. He is a valued servant leader for District M.
