Stressed about Cub advancement?

Cub Requirements Revised November 30th Gives Leaders More Flexibility

Join us at Roundtable for the Cub Breakout Focus!

stayinformedattendcubscoutroundtable1200The Boy Scouts of America has announced modifications to Cub Scouting that make the program more flexible for busy parents, den leaders, and Cubmasters. The modifications are designed to ensure that adventure requirements are achievable by today’s Cub Scout dens within a program year. The changes take effect today, November 30, 2016.

The quick takeaway? Most of the adventures have reduced the number of items required for completion, enabling most loops to be completed within two meetings, instead of three meetings.

Short notice? Yeah! We just found out ourselves! We’ll start briefly with a high-level overview on the changes, then spin into groups for a closer study by rank.

Join us for a holiday roundtable tomorrow evening for the details, fellowship, and holiday treats!
