Price Increases for Awards and Uniforms

Unit leaders – we have some good news and some bad news. We’ve heard this information on several online Scouting groups, so wanted to share with our District M folks.

Bad news?

BSA’s national supply division is raising prices for some awards and uniform pieces.

Good news?

The prices don’t go into effect until March 8. So, you can plan ahead and buy from our Scout Shops at the current, lower prices for roughly the next two weeks!

** CUB SCOUTS **

The following Cub Scout awards will experience a price increase: Adventure Belt Loops, Webelos/AOL pins, rank parent pins, shooting pins and National Summertime pins. In addition, prices of select Cub Scout uniform pieces will increase: neckerchiefs and slides, cut-to-fit web belt, socks, caps, shirts, shorts, capris, pants and skorts.

** SCOUTS BSA **

The following Scouts BSA uniform pieces will increase: neckerchiefs and slides, web belts, socks, caps, shirts, shorts, roll-up pants, skorts, merit badge sashes, epaulets and insignia.

Webelos Uniform Rolling Change Notice

Please note the Webelos uniform is going through a rolling change where fourth grade Webelos wear the blue uniform and fifth graders wear the tan uniform.

This change will become official for the start of the 2021-22 program year.

The Webelos belt is going through a rolling change from navy-blue web belt with Webelos buckle to green web belt with BSA buckle. Either is acceptable.
