University of Scouting Fall 2020 – Oct 24th

Well this is a different University of Scouting!  Most classes are online only.  But, we still have great classes with top notch instructors to help you on your Scouting journey.  A small number of classes will be in person only.

Registration will close at 11:59 pm on October 20, 2020.

Online only classes, a Zoom link will be sent to you by noon on Friday, October 23.   Please note, you will not be able to take online classes at the Leadership Center.

In person only classes, at Leadership Center at Base Camp.  No walk in registrations allowed.

WHO: Adult Leaders for the Cub Scout, Scouts BSA, and Venturing programs. Plus Venturing Youth.

WHEN: Saturday, October 24, 9 am to 4:45 pm.  There are 6 full hour periods with a 15 minute break between each period.  There will be a 45 minute break from 12:30 to 1:15 pm between Hour 3 and Hour 4.

WHERE: Mostly online via Zoom. A limited number of classes will be held in person at the Leadership Center at Base Camp.

HOW: Classes will include (online only) or (in person only) in the title.  Review the Course Catalog and decide which classes you want to take.  You will NOT be able to take online only classes at the Leadership Center.  Once you complete your in person only class or classes, you will be required to leave the Leadership Center.

For online only classes, we will email the link to you by noon on Friday, Oct 23.  You will receive a separate link for each online class.

For in person only classes, please check in at the Leadership Center between 8:30 and 8:45.  If you attend the Hour 3 class, Cooking With Cub Scouts (in person only), lunch will be provided via a generous donation.  We will email you more info on Friday, Oct 23.

Remember, Adults may take courses from any college regardless of how are you are registered with the BSA.  Don’t forget to look for classes in the other colleges!  Venturing Youth who are 18 or older may register for classes in other colleges as well.

Please register for classes early as some fill up quickly.
