Recruiting is in full swing for Packs and Troops!

Did you know that District M has the largest youth membership in Northern Star Council? Our youth membership currently stands at 2166! Our goal is to have 2500 youth enrolled by June 30, 2021. This is larger than some BSA Councils.

There is no question that these are challenging days for all our packs and troops. Many of our normal recruitment events have been cancelled due to the Covid pandemic. But we are still moving forward using every means possible to let families know about the exciting Scouting Adventure that awaits their children.

Did you know that 290 yard signs have been placed across our District in the last few weeks?

One pack requested 25 extra signs so they could blanket their community!

Did you know that nearly 18,000 families have received PeachJar flyers?

We have covered every school district with PeachJar or electronic flyers and paper flyers (where allowed).

Did you know that packs and troops are sending out recruitment mailings?

Several of our units are working on postcard mailings to families inviting them to become part of Scouting.

Did you know that more than 8,000 Join Cubs bookmarks have been made available to our packs to help in their recruitment activities?

Did you know that new families are joining Scouting right now?

One pack has registered 8 new Lion Cubs! One of our troops for girls has registered 3 new Scouts! We have registered more than 25 new Scouts in the last two weeks.
