HP Check Out A New Green Product to Help Educate Scouts

Several leaders at the Dan Beard Council said we should try to let other Scout leaders know about our new green product.

I have attached a .pdf of the packaging for our recycled paperboard bird house. We designed the house to help educate scouts, youth organizations and students learn about recycling, biodiversity and changing bird habitat. Our testers noted we should make a few key organizations aware of the products availability. It was noted the houses can help with several merit badges. It’s only been out for two weeks. The Zoo, three Scout groups, and a state/county environmental educator are going to use the houses as projects and fund raisers. Public Relations response has been that two national publications will run stories on the houses.

Also, we have added lesson plans to our website to help educators and youth leaders.
