What makes a trained leader?
Specific levels of training are required for each position in the BSA program. You are considered trained for your position, and you can wear the "trained" patch, when you have completed all of the training segments appropriate for your program and position.
Note: "New Leader Essentials" only needs to be taken once during your scouting career. When you change positions, you do not need to re-take this course.
