News / Flash Bulletin ……..Weather Service predicts gale force winds at Lake Minnetonka District during January. Are you prepared? Join us for a weekend of winter survival skills and challenges. It will be a test of strengths, smarts and team work. Please join the Scouts of Lake Minnetonka District for their annual Winter Camporee at Gail Woods in Minnetrista, Minnesota. There are events scheduled Friday evening though Sunday morning, including Stay Warm Stay Alive, 'If you want to eat you better have good aim', a Klondike sled race, cooking contest, a campsite inspection, campfires, prizes, and awards. Detailed information regarding the event, registrations forms, Klondike sled plans, and planning for a winter camping experience are provided below.
