HP OFFICIAL COUNCIL PINEWOOD DERBY RULES 2008

Good Afternoon All,

Attached are the rules for the 2008 Council Pinewood Derby. These are the rules that will govern all cars racing at the Council Pinewood Derby and are, therefore, the rules that we recommend all districts and units use in their races in order to eliminate as much confusion as possible, as well as to not create a situation where a Scout falls between the cracks and is disqualified at the council level when he was in compliance at the unit and district level.

If anyone has any questions regarding these rules, I am going to direct you to John Parizek who is the chairman of the Council Pinewood Derby and who wears "the buck stops here" hat in regards to these rules. His contact information is at the bottom of page 1 of this document.

Please distribute these rules by email as much as possible. We will be posting them on the website but will not be including a copy for each unit in their roundtable files.
